Your Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce membership offers numerous ways to get noticed, with options for every budget. Whether you’re looking for free advertising for your business, or have some money to spend, we will meet you where you are and help you navigate the best opportunities to help you reach your goal.

Your Chamber membership includes several FREE advertising opportunities that are targeted & effective. Take advantage!

Traditional ways to promote your business:

  • Be featured in the Meet a Member column of the monthly newsletter.

  • Be a Lunch & Learn presenter/panelist. This is a great platform to share your expertise and be seen as an industry leader.

  • Share your business news in the Member News column of the newsletter.

  • Host an Event such as After Hours Networking, Business Before Hours, or a field trip/tour of your business.

  • Volunteer at events. This is another easy and fun way to connect and build relationships with local businesses and community members.

Digital & Web Marketing Opportunities:

  • Complete your Member Directory listing. Upload your logo and fill out as much information as possible to optimize your search results.

  • Post Hot Deals and/or Member to Member Deals to increase awareness and traffic to your business.

  • Share important news & press releases through your Member Information Center (MIC). These are automatically shared on the Chamber’s Facebook page.

  • Post Job Openings through your MIC. Job postings get an average of 90 views per post!

  • Add your upcoming events to the community calendar.

  • Tag the Chamber in your Facebook posts or message us to let us know you have content you’d like for us to share.

Join a Committee

Joining a chamber committee provides an avenue to build relationships and network while giving back to the community and/or Chamber.

  • Chamber Champions - strives to create a welcoming and inclusive experience for all current and potential Chamber members. They serve as a Chamber representatives at Chamber functions and out in the community, and they help members get the most out of their membership & benefits.

  • Buy Blue Springs / Visitors Task Force - manages the Buy Blue Springs and Discover Blue Springs programs of the Chamber. The Buy Blue Springs program is an education and outreach marketing plan designed to encourage residents to consider Blue Springs first when making purchases. The Discover Blue Springs program leads efforts in promoting Blue Springs as a visitor destination. The goal is to include visitors to Discover Blue Springs and to shop, dine, stay and play in Blue Springs.

  • Legislative Affairs Task Force - studies local, state and federal legislative issues of interest to businesses, encourage information sharing about business issues among the membership, stay alert to issues that will affect our members and the business community and make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding such issues.

  • Business & Non-Profit of the Year - promotes the Business of the Year program of the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce to recognize and celebrate excellence in business.

  • Fall Fun Festival - plans and promotes a successful Blue Springs Fall Festival during the third weekend in September for the Chamber of Commerce and community.

  • Golf Committee - plans and promotes a successful Golf Tournament for the Chamber of Commerce.

  • Lunch & Learn Committee - establishes a series of educational/learning seminars for Blue Springs Chamber members that will encourage business development, personal growth and community knowledge.

Paid Advertising Avenues

  • Enhance Your Directory listing - By upgrading to an Enhanced Listing you can increase your business directory visibility with premium placement, added content and visual highlights. 

  • Be a Directory Category Leader - This includes an enhanced listing and provides you priority placement at the top of business directory search results.

  • Place an ad in the Newsletter - the “Chamber Connection” newsletter is sent to over 500 Chamber members every month.

  • Place an ad in the Monday Morning Coffee - this weekly e-newsletter includes upcoming events and important news and is sent to over 500 Chamber members every Monday.

  • Place an ad in the annual Community Profile - Advertising in the Community Profile includes placement in both printed & digital publications distributed throughout the Blue Springs community.

  • Place a Website Banner Ad - Display a custom banner at the the top of the Chamber web pages including the Events page, Business Directory, Hot Deals, Job Postings and news pages.

Be a Sponsor

Don’t have time to attend events but still want to make an impact? The Blue Springs Chamber offers multiple sponsorship opportunities for our community investors. Sponsorships include digital and print promotion, logo recognition, social media exposure and more! Our Sponsorship Guide goes out every October and the current year’s sponsors are given first right of refusal for the following year.
