The Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More of Blue Springs as the recipient of the 2025 Business of the Year Award. The award was presented Friday, January 23, at the Chamber’s Annual Banquet, recognizing the business for its strong community impact, customer service, and commitment to local partnerships.
Big Frog’s story began in 2015 as a family dream to build a business that could one day be passed down to future generations. Founded after the owners returned to Missouri to raise their family, the business was built by combining the strengths of multiple family members in accounting, human resources, information technology, and art. That foundation of teamwork and shared values continues to guide the company today.
In early 2025, Big Frog relocated to Main Street in downtown Blue Springs, allowing the business to expand on-site printing, welcome more walk-in customers, and become more fully engaged in the downtown district and community events.
Big Frog specializes in custom apparel and promotional products using Direct-to-Garment and Direct-to-Film printing, serving individuals, businesses, schools, and community organizations throughout Blue Springs and the surrounding area. The company is known for its focus on clear communication, quality work, and standing behind every order with integrity and care.
Community involvement is a defining part of Big Frog’s mission. Over the past year, the business supported the Claxton’s Shield fundraiser benefiting Officer Brandon Claxton, partnered with Asphaltic Surfaces to support Ronald McDonald House Charities, provided backpacks for students through The Table Blue Springs, packed lunches with Blue Springs Rotary for the You Matter initiative, and produced items for Fall Fun Fest, the Blue Springs Chamber Golf Tournament, and other local events. Big Frog also donated $1,000 to support broadcasting and sports programs at Blue Springs High School North and South.
Beyond its charitable efforts, Big Frog has shown a strong ability to adapt and grow. The company upgraded its branding and eCommerce systems, expanded online ordering, and continues to invest in new techniques to better serve customers in an evolving retail and garment decorating industry.
“Big Frog exemplifies what it means to be a community-centered business,” said Lara Vermillion, President of the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce. “They consistently show up, support local causes, and take care of the people who trust them with their projects.”
The Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce congratulates Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More of Blue Springs on this well-earned recognition and thanks them for the positive impact they continue to make in our community.
